Cheri has been working in the home decorating field for over 20 years. She initially trained in a drapery store, learning which fabrics to select and the right application for the home owner to create beautiful one-of-a-kind custom draperies. She worked with upholstery fabrics selecting perfect patterns that delighted her clients. Working in a drapery store brought her many different experiences, and allowed her to use her creative gifts in her own home as well as in others' homes and businesses. Given an hour to herself Cheri will go to her 'creative space' and dream of what to do with a piece of material, maybe even sewing it right then. When she has a little more time, she likes to re-think a room – move furniture, hang some art work, perhaps change paint colour, re-upholster a piece of furniture, make some window treatments or look through magazines for ideas about what I could do. Cheri graduated from university and has enjoyed a 15 year teaching career. She is bringing her sensitivity to the needs of others into a career as a home stager and re-designer. In recent years, Cheri and her family have invested in real estate: some to live in, some to rent out, and still others to renovate. These properties are primarily in Yaletown and White Rock.
